Role Overview
The developer will join a small engineering team supporting and extending a mature production platform for a life sciences and healthcare technology company.
The role provides ownership of features across the full application stack, from the Oracle database through the application middle tier and frontend.
Responsibilities
Full-Stack Development
- Develop and maintain production applications.
- Build features across frontend, middle tier and database layers.
- Own features end-to-end.
- Extend an established production platform.
Classic ASP.NET
- Develop and maintain Classic ASP.NET applications.
- Work across frontend and middle-tier components.
- Troubleshoot existing application functionality.
Oracle Development
- Write Oracle PL/SQL.
- Develop and troubleshoot stored procedures.
- Investigate database-related application issues.
- Support backend data functionality.
Production Platform Support
- Maintain mature production systems.
- Diagnose and resolve application issues.
- Safely introduce changes into an established platform.
- Work closely with a small engineering team.
Caching
- Work with Redis or a comparable caching layer.
